Legal Framework

This policy is governed by Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, under the supervision of the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel). For EU visitors, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679). Where there is a conflict, the standard providing greater protection applies.

Data We Collect & Legal Basis

Contact form (name, email, company, project type, budget, message) — legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to inquiries — retention: 2 years. Newsletter (email) — legal basis: consent — retention: until unsubscribe. Career applications (name, email, LinkedIn, GitHub, department, message) — legal basis: consent and pre-contractual measures — retention: 1 year. Technical data (IP, browser type, pages visited) — legal basis: legitimate interest for security and analytics — retention: 26 months.

How We Use Data

We use your data exclusively to: respond to your project inquiries; process career applications; send newsletter updates you have subscribed to; analyze site traffic (with consent); comply with legal obligations. We never sell your personal data.

Third-Party Processors

Vercel (hosting, analytics) — US/EU. Resend (email delivery) — US. Notion (career applications database) — US. Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection) — US/EU. Google Analytics (website analytics) — US. Each processor operates under their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to servers in the United States and EU through our processors. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or adequacy decisions in accordance with Law 09-08 and GDPR. No uncontrolled foreign data transfer is permitted.

Your Rights

Under Law 09-08 and GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data; restrict processing; data portability (GDPR); object to processing; withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at contact@hoet.ma or through our data rights request form. We respond within 30 days per GDPR. You may also file a complaint with the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).

Children's Privacy

Automated Decision-Making

Data Security

We protect your data through: encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS); role-based access controls; secure password storage (hashed and salted); secure hosting infrastructure provided by Vercel; regular security reviews. No sensitive data is stored in plaintext.

Data Breach Notification

In case of a data breach: we will notify the CNDP as required under Law 09-08; we will inform affected users within 72 hours per GDPR if the breach poses a high risk; we maintain a breach log for forensic traceability.

CNDP Registration

HOET Technologies SARL commits to registering its data processing activities with the CNDP in accordance with Law 09-08. Our declaration status is available upon request.

Changes to This Policy

This policy is versioned. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
